The year 2025 marks the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and the European Union, a milestone that highlights five decades of dialogue, partnership, and shared economic progress.
In celebration of this landmark year, officials from the Chengdu Municipal Government visited Frankfurt, Germany, for an investment promotion initiative aimed at deepening trade and investment cooperation between China and Europe. The delegation met with business leaders and institutional representatives to explore new areas of collaboration in innovation, sustainability, and industrial transformation.
As one of China’s leading gateways for international engagement, Chengdu continues to play a pivotal role in China-Germany cooperation. The city has become a central hub for projects in advanced manufacturing, green technology, digital transformation, and cultural exchange, all of which are vital to the long-term partnership between China and Germany.
