Successful Result in a Cross-Border Aviation Transaction
Have you got a question?
Oracle Law Global’s China Business Desk has successfully advised a Chinese aircraft leasing company based in Southeast China on a complex cross-border aviation finance and leasing transaction with an aircraft operator based in Frankfurt.
This transaction involved the structuring of a B777 aircraft leasing and operations arrangement. The deal raised important cross-border aviation finance and regulatory considerations, including aircraft registration, screening for legal risks related to litigation, insolvency, and compliance, as well as enforcement rights under German law.
The successful result not only enabled our client to navigate the complex European legal landscape but also secured its strategic entry into the German aviation market and strengthened its long-term leasing and operating capabilities in Europe.
As the General Counsel for our client’s international business, we support them in all legal matters relating to cross-border transactions and activities in the European market.
Led by our Head of China Business Desk, Ning Zhou, the team played a crucial role in conducting thorough due diligence, ensuring a successful result for our client.
We congratulate Ning Zhou on his excellent leadership and commitment throughout the transaction. This successful outcome highlights Oracle Law Global’s expertise in supporting clients with complex international legal matters and in achieving their business objectives in key global markets.
