Maggie is an immigration paralegal for our Belfast office. She provides quality and tailored advice to various immigration clients including those with human rights applications. Maggie is also an Ethiopia qualified lawyer. She acquired an LL.B in Law (with Distinction) from Jimma University, a joint LL.M in Law and Development (with Distinction) from The University of Warwick and Mekelle University and a Graduate Diploma in Law (with Distinction) from the University of Law.
Prior to joining Oracle Solicitors, Maggie had acquired eight years of experience in commercial, immigration and criminal matters while advising the Ethiopian government and international companies operating in Ethiopia. She drafted various legislations such as the Ethiopia’s proclamation on document authentication that are adopted by the country’s parliament. She represented clients in different disputes including in Private Equity matters. She also led the establishment and acquisition of several subsidiary offices by international companies
She is now using her drafting, advocacy and client care skills acquired over years of experience to best support diverse clients who seek our service in immigration matters.
