Kumsal is dual qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales and as an attorney-at-law in Turkey. She has been practising since 2013.

Earning law degrees in Turkey and in England and Wales, and subsequently completing a master’s degree at Queen Mary University of London (Corporate and Finance Law), she has been handling an array of commercial legal matters and representing the interests of large corporates and individuals on complex multi-jurisdictional transactions and agreements.

Over the last three years, Kumsal’s legal practice has increasingly focused on asset finance and commercial support to clients in the energy and aviation sectors, involving drafting and reviewing commercial contracts and process agent agreements with major airlines in Turkey, assisting with the drafting of aircraft sale and purchase agreements and coordinating and drafting various conditions precedent to an aircraft sale/lease/finance agreement. She also advises on Companies House and Civil Aviation Authority filings relating to the financing/leasing of aircraft from both a seller and buyer perspective.

Kumsal’s experience in Aviation has enabled her to be involved in many specialist areas, and she brings those skills and experiences to the aviation department of Oracle Solicitors. She provides a broad range of expertise to the team including passenger and baggage claims and debt recovery proceedings.

She is the team leader for two major airline clients of Oracle Solicitors and manages a team of paralegals, offering day-to-day support and case management reviews through the litigation process.

Being a former national basketball player, Kumsal comes with a competitive and must-win attitude. Kumsal is an extremely bright and energetic Solicitor who has developed strong leadership qualities with the determination to succeed. She is currently completing her GDPR certificate (IAPP) to become a certified Information Privacy Professional in Europe.
