Henok is a Legal Counsel based in our Frankfurt office with a strong focus on commercial, regulatory, and compliance matters in both national and international contexts.

Prior to joining Oracle, he worked as an Associate at a leading international law firm within the Legal Managed Services team, where he advised on public business law, particularly regarding funding eligibility, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance for publicly influenced and mixed-ownership enterprises.

During his legal clerkship, Henok was part of the regulatory and compliance practice of an international law firm with a strong presence in the German market. He advised clients on inquiries from supervisory and law enforcement authorities and supported the development of compliance frameworks, including those related to MiFID II, WpHG, and MaComp. His work also included internal investigations and support throughout administrative proceedings.

Earlier in his career, Henok gained valuable experience as a research associate, where he focused on corporate law, international transactions, and contract drafting. He contributed to client advisory work on corporate structuring, governance, and capital measures, and co-authored legal publications.

Henok studied law at Goethe University, where he obtained an LL.M. in European and International Business Law and gained international study experience at Bond University in Australia. He also has extensive experience in the financial sector through prior roles at major German and Swiss banking institutions, where he supported transactions in capital markets and M&A.

Henok has also participated in leading international moot court competitions.
